Sound.
Myko was fantastic last season, Pickford & Tarky too. All under Dyche (though I understand so far this season is terrible). Doucoure has shown up when needed, he didn't previously.
I get that no-one likes the manager, but there's enough ammo, no need to make it up.
Branthwaite benefited from PSV experience. Looked good when he started ( which Dyche delayed in favour of Keane) but I can’t compare as I never saw him previously other than a couple of fleeting games.
Mykolenko has been inconsistent- just like before Dyche. Dreadful in recent weeks.
Pickford again inconsistent. Awful this season. Was he better than pre Dyche? No.
Other than a few rare important goals Doucoure has remained consistently awful. His inability to get involved in a game has gotten much worse.
Tarkowski possibly yes but last season. Looks lost atm
So yes, not one player looks better as a result of Dyches coaching.
Pickford arguably.
Doucoure definitely.
Tarkowski had the best season defensively of his career too.
But apart from that half of the team off the top of my head, yeah, no-one.
I would actually argue that every single player has regressed. They look unfit, disinterested, clueless and lacking basics.
because the fanbase is absolutely toxic at the moment
Last night 17 yr Armstrong was booed by his own fans because a fanbase who were moaning about Soton having more possession than is even though most of it was in their own half, were unhappy that he retained possession by passing it backwards !
The criticism of Dyche is boring
His team selection is shite
He doesn't make enough subs
His subs are shite
Why is he playing Keane
Why is he playing Young
He needs to play the kids, but we'll boo the kids because they are not yet ready
And when we do sack Dyche and the new manager has to pick Young and Keane because there is no one else, I wonder who the fanbase will then turn on because there's only 2 people who've got us into this mess and one of them ain't Dyche
Dyche is the only overachieving manager we've had since Moyes, who funnily enough was massively underappreciated by a lot of fans
