Branthwaite back, Ndiaye and Lindstrom playing off DCL. Garner, Tim, McNeil, Gana, Mangala to choose from in midfield.
Don’t want to see Young or Harrison again.
Moyes is a better manager but not convinced he would be right at this time.
Full back is so important in the modern game. I love Seamus but we should’ve moved on years ago and yet he’s still our best right back. Mykolenko is functional at best.
We miss Branthwaite at centre back. Tarkowski is a bottom half PL player.
The centre of midfield still lacks someone who can keep and pass the ball - and is still settling in.
Despite all that, I still believe we should be better than this. And that’s on the manager. I don’t see how anyone can think that Moyes wouldn’t be a better option. Much as I’d love to move on from that conversation altogether it’s, sadly, the level of the barrel we’re scraping.
The new players look like they can add something but the tactics will not get the best out of this group of players. No easy answer to it as I don’t believe there is any plan beyond Dyche and I don’t know who could replace him on a short-term contract other than Moyes, who would be equally unsuitable.
