Every single Twitter account (including the myriad bots) that blindly believed and retweeted those lies about the Southport assailant's name, immigration status and "being on an MI6 watchlist" are partly responsible for the chaos that ensued on the streets and if anyone had died they would have blood on their hands. From my point of view, the problem is that it seems that the majority of them that did would be proud of that fact, not ashamed.
It's a huge problem and I don't have the faintest idea how to even begin to address it.

It’s finally gone to shit hasn’t it? Just a putrid stream of misinformation and right wing bile from blue ticks. Racist posts that get ignored when reported etc.
Do you think this was Musks’s intention when he bought it?
Will be interesting to see if he sells up when Trump loses the election.
