...oncologists (and doctors in general in fact) are absolutely brilliant people and are absolutely amazing at what they do, plus - as you have seen from the earlier posts - there have been huge improvements both in the tests to detect and the medicines to treat...
However, there isn't a single doctor, or a single test in the world that can measure or detect the amount of positivity and fight that a human being has, both inside them, and around them.
So they can give you a diagnosis, a treatment regimen and a prognosis, and they will be the result of thousands of hours of hard work and brilliance involving tests, research and trials - however that can only ever be a best guess - an "average" based on everyone that has gone before. Every case is different, and I genuinely believe that one of the biggest differences is that positivity factor. Good luck with it all - keep us posted x
It sounds like we’re in the hardest phase right now before we find out the prognosis and treatment plan.
It’s going to be a long week.

My wife has just phoned me from the hospital. She’s been told she has breast cancer. We won’t find out the prognosis until next Thursday.
I’m at home looking after the kids trying not to let on. She doesn’t want to tell them until we know all the facts.
I’m absolute petrified for my wife and the future. Just wanted somewhere to let it out really.
Prayers appreciate for those that partake.
I will be strong for her but at the moment I just feel like bawling and I can’t because of the kids!
