Young has filled in at right back, left back and right midfield
Of the 13 league games we've won he's appeared in 11 of them and he's played in 9 of the games where we've kept clean sheets
Young has done more in the last 2 weeks than Alli has done in 2 years !
...and I wouldn't be surprised to see him moving into coaching within the next year or two - maybe even with us.
He obviously has his limitations, but unfortunately so do our finances for the foreseeable.
he makes mistakes, he gets caught in some games and has been a liability in some games, some of which is on the manager (dont start him against certain teams / players)
he's also had decent games, been solid at times, never complains and is by all accounts a dream professional
he's 39 in June, but I'd have him another year. because we'll need to scrimp and save and he can cover several positions.
