My priorities would be:
A number 10, ideally one who could also play in a midfield 3 (won’t be cheap)
A right winger who can cross
Cover at centre back if Keane leaves
Martinez also had Lukaku on a record EFC fee.
What Dyche has achieved had been superb. It's been testing, but given his constraints he's figured out a way to keep us in the league.
The squad needs investing in. I think we'll see 4 or 5 players that have had game time over this season leaving.
I think we need a forward with pace, a midfielder who can play a through ball, a right back who can defend and attack... All that ontop of replacing those who leave.
If we get that, we'll be north of 50 points next year.
With our squad you can probably chose to be capable offensively or defensively, not both.
Second most clean sheets in the league and for most of the season we have defended very well.
The style of play has been frustrating but Dyche has made a call of what to prioritise and it’s been the right one.
Not to mention the fact that a huge part of attacking play these days is your full backs either overlapping or joining in midfield. We have one functioning full back in the whole squad so fair enough that we go with solidity over flair.
