Nothing he’s done at Everton will have changed the opinion of him so far. What might change options would be if he stays and re-establishes the club in the top half. This is very likely the biggest job he will ever have.
He gets to manage in front of 40k home fans and in a year that will be 50k in a state of the art stadium.
He didn’t win for 13 games and didn’t lose his job.
But, if the current situation doesn’t match the vision he was sold I have to say hats off to Bill Kenwright for a masterful job at hiding that we are a shitshow, which is obvious to anyone who follows the club.
Dyche has mentioned a number of times recently that the vision that he was sold when joining the club turned out to be something completely different.
He expected finances to be a little tight but has been taken aback the way things actually developed.
I am sure that he is probably reflecting on the job that he and his staff have done since he joined which, in my opinion, has been outstanding and wondering whether he wants to continue with it.
He could leave with his reputation intact and his head held high.
I was skeptical when he joined us having managed a team that was relegated but have been completely won over.
I think it would be disastrous if he left now but wouldn’t blame him if he did c
