Think we should prepare for the Brentford game by resting everyone from our first 11 with minor knocks. DCL should be saved, so Chermiti to start that. We could go for a goalless draw.
1. We draw the derby, then Luton draw away at Wolves, we draw at home to Brentford. Or we get thrashed but Luton lose to Wolves and we beat Brentford. In that case we just need a point at Luton to stay up. And if we can’t manage that get another chance to seal it if we beat Sheff United at home.
But.
2. We lose the derby. Luton beat wolves and we lose to Brentford. That would mean that if they beat us they go above us. And we’d NEED to beat Sheff United and hope other results go our way.
Before todays result Sky had a graphic saying we are 5% chance of being relegated. But it didn’t feel like that.
We’re on a great run!
Two clean sheets in three.
If we avoid defeat at Luton, we’ll make it.
