Our problem isn’t that we sack managers, it’s that we’re so bad at hiring them. They need to seriously consider whether Moyes is the best person available for Everton for the next 5 years. He’s only succeeded at Everton and West Ham and lasted less than a year at Man Utd, Real Sociedad and Sunderland.
Even when here, after a good first season, it took the summer after the second season for the group that down tools to sack the manager to realise they’d lost the battle and that Moyes was in charge. Does Dyche need that backing or is he a lost cause?
If he is available would we take him back as replacement for Dyche, whose position at the club may be untenable even if he does keep us up.
Personally it's a yes from me. As a slight romanticist, I'd like to see an Evertonian be the last manager at Goodison and the first manager into BMD. He'd also do a better job than Dyche.
Let the brickbats fly....
