Not sure if Downing has too
But if it gets to the administration stage don’t be surprised to see Bell and Downing getting involved a bit more.
What a mess.
As The Esk claims..
If by “mid April” 777 haven’t satisfied the PL demands
Then MSP can take a controlling stake
They’d need to it back 777 working capital loans (and I suspect they scrambled together that money to block exactly this scenario, so god knows what terms that was “agreed” with Moshiri)
But if you’re in MSP’s shoes would you take control of us, find new stadium, and let Moshiri just sit around with a minority stake?
Can Moshiri be charged for gross misconduct?
To think he’s an accountant too.
Doubled losses and doubled debt from last year.
As I understand it this is the reason we’ve been charged a second time, so it doesn’t mean next season we will have another points deduction. But it does mean we’re much greater risk of administration than we thought.
Given the Benitez years took us pretty close to compliance the absolute tailspin of debt over the last season, which involves 6+ months of uncertainty over ownership, and PL points deductions, just shows that any claims the PL have that their rules are designed to prevent financial mismanagement can get in the bin.
Bottom line is if we’d had a suspended points deduction and 1 charge per season we’d be fine. But it’s hard to see how the club survives this, let alone retain PL status.
losing just a little more faith every day, and credibility too apparently
