The deal absolutely reeks.
And Chermiti. Maybe in installments, and add-ons, etcetc.
…is what was reported. I know both deals smell funny, but that’s £42m of strikers who haven’t exactly contributed £42m of end product.
But sometimes not making a change in manager, can actually work in our favour.
“There is nobody else, let’s get behind him”…. type of outlook
But no wins in 12 …. Soon maybe 13 … it’s not a good look.
The constant churn of managers has ruined us from a stability point of view which has exacerbated our situation.
As others have mentioned… no Gordon, no Richarlson, no Iwobi .. and we’ve replaced them with loans and freebees. So it’s not surprising there is little end product.
I still have faith in Dyche.
I think he can turn it around
Now….,I’m going for a lie down

But can you think of many other Premier League managers who'd still be in post after the run Everton have had?
It wouldnt
We've only survived relegation in the final week of the last 2 seasons and in that time we have sold £150m of forwards and replaced them with loans, free transfers and lads bought on the never never
Even Bournemouth who finished above us last season spent over £120m during the summer
The aim this season was to try and balance the books and try and be competitive which is what have been in majority of matches
Has ever a club had to deal with as much uncertainty as us this season
An absent owner, a dubious takeover lasting over 6 months, no functioning board, 2 PSR hearings, an initial 10 point deduction and awaiting another possible points deduction
The fact that we aren't already dead and buried is an achievement in itself
