I think the quid pro quo is that we wouldn’t have all the debt to service and that’s probably a fair swap for not getting additional revenues, which may not be as lucrative as one would expect.
The London Stadium has transformed West Ham. I think renting the new stadium would transform us. Yes, we may prefer to have the additional control, but beggars may not be able to choose.
We would pay rent and take our match fees and associated income relating to our football activities.
They would get the rent we pay and I presume additional income from other avenues such as concerts.
That in itself is the end.
Ste
Who else is going to plate there. You negotiate a fair and commercial rent and agree on the rent uplifts. Probably based on inflation.
Not saying not is preferable but it wouldn’t be a disaster. Everton is not a property company.
a huge risk with 777 as far as I can see, they are classic vultures.
Nobody wants administration, but the damage that could be done by 777 needs to be seriously considered and I don't think Moshiri gives two fcuks as long as he can recoup an extra penny on the pound.
It is interesting how the mainstream media have avoided chasing Moshiri down and asking him serious questions about his plans and his absentee landlord style leadership of the club. The man is getting away far too easily for someone who is prone to talking out of turn during live interviews.
