Jaysus indeed.
Bramley Moore did. There will be some reasons why those 2 decisions were made. Jaysus.
Like the people who designed Destination Kirkby?
"Most accessible stadium in the country" the club and Knowsley Council said loud and proud, armed with a substantial transport plan with mentions of new bus stations and park and ride facilities etc. Several revisions later, it was laughed out of the Public Inquiry as it was revealed that the transport modellers had been unable to achieve adequate dispersal rates for the proposed site and knowsley council were including capacity cap clauses to cover themselves.
you are basing your opinion on that? Seriously? Maybe put your faith in people who design stadiums for a living, people who model these things?
...when I asked the question at our site visit, the reply (from a site foreman walking us around) was that the idea was that lot of people would be hanging around in all the nice new shiny bars and restaurants, so there wouldn't be 50,000 leaving at once... I suspect that's he's not considering the "freezing cols soaking wet midweek/schoolnight 4-0 defeat scenario"!
the access is going to be worse than KD
there are only 4 entrances each about 10 yards wide
Its going to empty quicker than the Emirates when we go 2 down with 10 minutes to go
convincing me at the time that Kings Dock could never have been approved as a football stadium as the site could not handle that amount of traffic and that the site could really only take a concert arena like it has now.
Crosby Blue maybe I forget.
