The fact it happened at all isn't a good look for Dyche. There's no place for a 'playful slap' at a team meal.
The unfortunate few from here who know me will probably admit I'm not a woke warrior, but it's a bit knuckle dragging stereotype from Dyche.
Patterson is supposedly one of the most popular players in the dressing room so it could prove to be an undermining of his (Dyche) authority heading into the critical stage of the season. It's nonsense he and the club could do without.
