its being changed to be similar to UEFA rules,
looking like clubs can spend 80%-85% of revenue on transfers etc
Uefa is 70%
Chelsea were apparently going to opt out of Europa league if they won the league cup, as it wouldnt generate money and being in europe would see them fined again by UEFA.
Its a nonsense, and UEFAs rules and the new league rules, as ever, favour the 'big' clubs.
I understand clubs having to be financially secure.
But if a club has a wealthy backer, banning them from spending because it upsets the status quo is bullshit
Ultimately UEFA / PREM / La Liga etc are perfectly happy for the same few clubs to dominate trophies for the foreseeable future.
They dont really want PSG or City or even Chelsea at the table, but they cant get rid. They dont want Newcastle, and they for sure as hell dont want Villa, West Ham, Everton, or the like getting anywhere close on a regular basis.
the game is rigged, more than ever, less rigged in the prem than other leagues, but still rigged
