If he shows he can do more then we extend again. No matter how well he does with us, I don’t see him being snapped up by many ‘bigger’ clubs so he’s hardly a flight risk; especially once we’re in the new ground.

And if he had any kind of budget rather than loans & freebies, the handbrake would be taken off.
If we can play anything like the Brighton 1-5, even at home, I'm all in.
I think he has a limited ceiling (style of play, naturally safety-first) but is ideal for building a club that will stabilise around mid table. And, after the last God knows how many years, I would absolutely take that.
I can’t see him taking us much beyond that, and it’s far from an enjoyable watch, but we need to reset our expectations and foundations and then try to build from there. I don’t think we’ll find too many managers with both the ability and appetite to do that.
I’d give him a new three year deal without too many concerns. That should provide enough time to get ourselves stable, into BMD, and then see where we’re at. Gives him and us some certainty in the meantime.
