In any acquisition it would be normal for there to be various conditions that have to be fulfilled, after the agreement is signed, before the deal can finally complete. In this case obtaining PL approval would be one such condition. There is a period within which the conditions need to be fulfilled otherwise the deal fails to complete and the parties can enter into new agreements, either with each other or otherwise.
He has sold the club to them....pending approval. Surely there is something in that deal that gives him a get out if this drags on? I suppose that is my point re epl not rejecting. If they can reject that would be the trigger for Moshiri to look elsewhere, without an out right rejection, what gives him that trigger?
and until such time as they pull out of that he can't entertain other parties.
And if the talk that 777 need Everton to be able to continue to trade is true, they are going to hold out for approval for as long as it takes. So if the PL cannot 'reject' them, 777 are going to hang on until such time as the PL 'approve' them.
Speaking of tedious...here's Mazzzzzzz
