Really pleased to say that I didn't think we looked in any danger at all, the way we defended and controlled possession. Lovely to watch.

We could have been three up by then, but I was happy with the first fifteen minutes, when we were well on top.
Back home after a good workout, my wife and I turned the game on and promptly saw Brentford's equalizer. They had responded well to going behind, and we were relieved to see us get to halftime still level. Though Gana gave me palpitations with an atrocious pass, which wasn't his first miscue of the day.
The second-half performance was mostly pleasing. Two good goals and solid defending.
Tarkowski, with a goal, an assist, and a proper captain's performance, was my MOM. Doucoure, Branthwaite, and Garner all shone. Young and Mykolenko were solid.
Garner's cross to Tarkowski in the build-up to the first goal was superb, and his precision pass to set up DC-L is something we've been missing for a good while.
Beto was quite effective, but he missed a good chance and made hash of a cross with Doucoure well positioned at the far post. How he and DC-L perform in training this week may decide who starts against Luton.
Three points, three goals, and an away victory!
