As far as I'm aware the PL had to sign off on all our deals in the summer and the club have co-operated fully with the PL investigation. Compare that with Man City's refusal to co-operate. Maybe the club's statement reflects confusion at the referral.

If they want to punish Everton then fine the club and / or transfer embargo them. If they hand out a points deduction it's as good as relegating us.

I think we'll get through that process, but I'm concerned this cloud will affect the manager and players for the last 10 games we have to play.
