Through all of this mess we were allegedly running everything by the PL for them to approve. If they are now saying we are in breach of FFP, despite following their advice and gaining their approval, then surely the question that needs to be asked and answered is 'which party is more culpable in all of this?'

A transfer embargo would be warranted if EFC is charged. Chelsea got that for scores of underhand transfer dealings. A points deduction? Portsmouth got a 9 point one for going into administration. Is Everton spending over the FFP limit of the same magnitude as that?

I think that's what most are saying / asking rather than denying any validity to the actions of the PL and this independent commission.
