What other clubs do or have done is irrelevant to us.

There's an awful lot of 'whataboutary' going on.

"Why are Chelsea allowed to spend?“ (huge commercial revenue x long contracts = no immediate problem)

"This is because Leeds and Burnley are grasses." (No, it's because audited accounts we have submitted over the past few years have been staggeringly bad)

"Newcastle were dishonest over the takeover." (Maybe, but it was approved)

Everton have been spending like crazy with no foundation for years. Our commercial team relied on USM money rather than the clubs commercial doing their jobs. The board, led by am utterly incompetent chair have allowed this situation to develop. The club statement they released is laughable. Basically a reworded version of the Everton suoerleague statement. A few powerful buzzwords that appear to be favourites of Denise.

Moshiri is a ####ing idiot for trusting this lot with his money for so long.

Whatever punishment the league decides to hand out is FULLY deserved. If it's a points deduction, so be it. (I doubt it will be) The league have been backed into a corner by us. How can they punish us for last season and not expect a compensation claim from the three other relegated clubs we beat by cheating?

The rules are bullshit, owners should be able to spend whatever they like so long as it isn't loading debt.

They're still the rules and Everton have clearly broken them.

The anger should be (as always) aimed at our revered board rather than whining about how unfair life is
