they had to break up areas in order to make them similar in size as every ward had 3 councillors. Now apart from a few wards, each ward will only have one councillor so areas have been made smaller

So if the population of Childwall was 60000, it would be split up into different wards. A ward maybe called The Rocket, but the area would still be called Childwall
