The long(est) drought, bar an fa cup in the recent era has seen us drop off. Before that we were up there, although should’ve won more based on our longevity.
A sign of the times is City winning the league this year ties them with us for league titles, while Arsenal opens up more of a gap. We’re still up there though and need to make some more history!

I think he's right.
We're generally mid table plodders with a few (short) periods of success scattered throughout our history.
The mid 80s was the only time we have threatened to go on a sustained run of challenging at the top, but that was scuppered by players wanting to leave.
