He told me EFC had tried everything they could to sell Rooney to Chelsea but they thought Rooney was an accident waiting to happen for that £ & wouldn’t touch him.
He also told me he’d organised a press conference for the Stevie G reveal….. & then heard there was one going on at Anfield. Which is where Chelsea found out the signature & deal they had in place was worthless

Some very damning comments on players and Kenwright by Rooney today. Can you believe Everton were trying to sell him to Chelsea without telling him? The stuff that has gone on behind the scenes for years is a total disgrace. How does BK get away with it year after year. Please god we get new owners and they boot him out.
