Lots of nice villages nearby, I live in Welwyn which is 10 minutes away, loads of great pubs and restaurants.
The old town in Stevenage is really nice and a fast link to London on the train.

my daughter has got a placement at GSK in Stevenage next year and it is a place I know very little about so any help would be appreciated
