Frankly Yes, if those are your reasons
Having listened to Tyldesley and Hartson the other day today’s commentary was not even a minor irritant in comparison. Personally I did not hear ‘shrieking’ (in fact her voice is quite a deep alto), just the commentator standard over-excitement trying to hype up a rubbish game.
All that should matter is whether a commentator knows their stuff, can turn a phrase, knows when to shut up and avoids comparing Bale to Jesus. Gender and voice pitch is irrelevant IMO.
That female commentators on live TV football are truly awful to listen to.
I know she may know a lot about the game etc but it’s the shrieking every time one team has a chance.
