I think he’d bring a bigger fee than Holgate and
…is probably on much higher wages too. He’s a shoe in to be first out. However, that was then this is now. With Mina and Godfrey out, Branthwaite on loan etc it’d make more sense to keep him for the moment unless there’s someone else (gasp!) going to be coming in.
We all wondered a few weeks ago, who does FL value, which one would be let go. We had conflicting info, we thought Holgate or Godfrey were the ones to go, or Mina, but Keane to start and this was not going to change, he was just here as a starter for ever. Then Godfrey started and Keane was on the bench. And now we see a loan request has failed. Does this mean WH are try to poach him, or does this mean Keane is on a list, there is a list, has to be. I don't know what to do with this as it's a big paragraph. Just thinking that FL is capable of surprises, but mostly, all the shit we have been trying to scream to managers for 10 years, FL sees it.
Personally, I would ship Mina if there is a buyer. He is a useless player to have in your squad because he is so fragile.
Keane VS Holgate out, that's a tough one and as you can see from the poll, it's polarising.
I think it will be
new dc (maybe not yet)
and Keane and Mina out.
