I don't disagree with that and said as much in my post
It just makes me uncomfortable hearing so many people state with confidence that the signings of McNeill, Coady and Tarkowski will cure our injury problems this season. I hope that proves to be the case but until it is, I'll be fearful our injury curse could continue.
who would you think more likely to play an injury free season ?
Some players are injury prone, Tiago seems another, others not so.
Obviously if Son decides to snap half your leg off it doesn't matter if you are injury prone or not but there is a difference between constant muscle injuries and breaks
A lot of people are stating that because all three players have hardly missed any games it will be a great thing for Everton to have three ever presents for the full season. But surely there's simply no way to guarantee an injury free season, in fact they are all probably overdue a spell on the sidelines and it will simply be in keeping with 'Everton That' when one, two or all three inevitably get injured this season!
To be clear I applaud the approach of avoiding signing players with injury histories and it's far more likely a player will continue to stay fit without an injury history than a player with one, but I just think it's tempting fate to laud a new signing's ability to stay injury free as if it's something we can rely upon. Anyway I hope my fears are unfounded and all of them keep going and going like three Duracell Bunnies all season
