…it’s too emotive for people to forget.
If they replace Johnson they might avoid that fate, depending on who it is. Previous Message
it's impossible to keep track of the constant stream of bullshit that emanates from Johnson's mouth. Even now, he's bloviating and blustering as usual in Parliament, telling us that he "takes full responsibility" even though obviously none of this was his fault and the bad things happened after he left. So he definitely didn't lie to Parliament. Lie on top of lie on top of lie. But it becomes accepted that it's no big deal for a Prime Minister to oversee large scale breaking of the rules he set, participate in the parties himself and then repeatedly try to lie his way out of it.
Can you imagine any other PM in history being allowed to get away with this?
We've got to "move on", we are constantly told, it doesn't matter about the man at the top having no honour, decency or integrity because, er, Ukraine, um, cost of living crisis. Because obviously, you need an amoral, lazy, selfish charlatan leading the country to address these important issues.
The UK is heading down a very dangerous and damaging slippery slope. Previous Message
Corruption in No 10
Many will be dismayed that behaviour of this kind took place on this scale at the heart of Government. The public have a right to expect the very highest standards of behaviour in
such places and clearly what happened fell well short
of this. I
