Kenwright has some of "his people" in place now (Sharp as a non-executive board member, Prentice in Communications, and arguably even DBB) so it might be some sort of "exit strategy" but I still can't see him leaving voluntarily until after the stadium is complete so he can try to get himself a statue built or a stand named after himself!
I was also told before Thursday's match that the club is actively for sale, have received and rejected one bid, but have encouraged the potential buyers to come back with a better one - the main driver not being the state of the football club, but the sanctions against our owner's best mate cutting off a planned major pipeline of income.
Another one I heard is that, after his work is done with the World Cup, Tim Cahill will be joining us (perhaps as chairman? my own musing not anything I was told)
Interesting times ahead for sure.
