if Everton treat EPL officials like they treat the grassroots ones then its no surprise

I was supposed to ref a corporate game at Goodison at 9.30 this morning. I park up in the Park End car park at 8.55, a lad comes over to me, Game OFF. He was going to be my assistant. He said he'd just got a phone call to say they couldnt get enough players - 35 minutes before kick off !

Also I was at Finch Farm last Sunday to do 2 games. I was told I had to get changed in the car park (forecast was for heavy rain) because I wasn't allowed to use the changing rooms because of Covid - I said since 1st April sports facilities cant use Covid as an excuse. I was there 5 hours refereing the u14s then line for the u12s - I was never offered even a drink of water even though it turned out to be 22 degrees
