Everton were well organised defensively but rotten at possession football. With Mina and Keane we were able to defend dead balls all day and sit deep, which worked great away (albeit dull) but we didn't have the midfield personnel to move the ball properly at Goodison.

One of those wins was away from home and that was in a Covid season, so it's largely irrelevant considering we had our best ever PL away win haul that season and our worst ever home form. Topsy turvy football with no fans. Previous Message Previous Message
