But the 27 (28) years campaign need to redouble their efforts now.
It's possible to support the team and protest the ineptitude in the boardroom.
Fans stopping their booing and 27min walkouts and actually supporting the team and being fully 100% behind the players.
Just hope Frank realised that wonít last and the core squad remains shite.
Iwobi plays for Nigeria, indeed got sent off after coming on as a sub at the last AFCON. I myself posted taking the piss, asking if his ban could be extended to club football.
Iím so glad I now look like a fool and he has proven me and all the other doubters wrong. Iím not sure what the turning point for him has been. Perhaps Frank or others on the new coaching staff convinced him to play differently or believe in his ability? It was certainly already there when he scored the winner against Newcastle. I also wonder if that goal and the change in optimism (or lack of pessimism) from fans helped him too.
Whatever it was he seems a reformed player. I know we need a clear out, and Iím still not convinced he can be a top player, but at least heís been giving his all and thatís what Iíd want from any member of my squad if I were manager.
Nowhere near the England squad, any of them, and yet glimpses of being major players for us.
Iwobi was EVERYWHERE
What a transformation the last few months, he never stops, never hides, and doesnt duck out of any challenges
