It's great to see some genuine sincerity and passion in these cynical and profit-obsessed times
Not just that interview either, he's been classy throughout even when the going got really tough. His managerial career could have quite conceivably hit the rocks had we gone down but he never seemed desperate to deflect the blame as many others undoubtedly would have.
Who knows whether it will work out for either party but his connection to the fans is clear. The humility from such a highly decorated player is nice too.
I remember running down the steps at GP, roaring abuse at him for delaying the restart of play many years ago. Feel kinda bad about that now. Hopefully he won't remember
what a great guy ... beautiful person ... we are lucky to have him. IMO ...
