Yes, they know any action will invite unsavory questions about
Manchester City, and that would break the existing truce of no one bringing it up.
It's going to be very easy to dismiss Burnley and Leeds with "You would not be asking such question if you had delivered on the pitch".
Also their common cause will end tomorrow when one of them stays up.
EFC could and should sue them for FFP if they slap the club too hard.
That if you want to break FFP, you just need to hire a bunch of lawyers, and flash the cash to PR and media interests.
FFP isn't enforceable.
