If we didn’t care about FFP, Luis Diaz would have been playing last night. Given all the noises from the club it’s highly likely it was the Premier League that told us we had to lose James off the wage bill before we signed him. The Premier League have been telling the club it’s all fine for a year or more and every transaction is checked with them before it’s completed. There would be plenty of evidence if they tried to go back on that now.
