I get what they're saying. If we were 12th.
But the atmosphere has definitely pulled us through when we were dead and buried a fortnight ago.
…along the lines of treating every game as a cup final might not be the best idea, especially when we have better quality players than the teams we’re facing. I sort of get that, not sure the fevered atmosphere helps someone like Gordon in his decision making.
Then again, better going mental in the stands than sleep walking our way to relegation I guess.
I am hoping our support and the commitment of the players will see us through.
If we win, I will celebrate it like if we won a cup. Plus, I will never take Everton in the Premier League for granted.
If we don’t win then I think it will be us who is being relegated. Avoid red cards, own goals, free kicks outside the box, giving away penalties, and I think we will win. Goodison at night has done a lot of good things for our team.
