I'm sure he and the team are very aware of the changing dynamics in-game, but choose incremental nudges over wholesale switching of plans.
Either because FL has been burned in the past, or maybe because he doesn't trust the players, or they're thick?
But I'm certain he knows what's going on in-game.

We could see the issues, the pundit could, surely he and the coaches had too, and you would expect one of the coaching team to have bought it up, is it just stubborness when the manager won't change it up? I mean he may be inexperienced but so am I and I could see the problems, what makes them stick? Previous Message
Probably not what was needed to ensure PL survival but a good long-term prospect. I think we should retain him regardless of what happens.
That said, there’s bound to be days like yesterday where he seems slow to adjust. As long as he learns from these moments it’s all good; the problem is the position we’re in and the fact we don’t really have the time to give him those learning opportunities, right now.

We should have reacted to the sending off gone 4-4-1 rather than sit so deep and invite pressure. At half time bought on Allan to man mark Erickson. Playing Iwobi at RB and Coleman at CB gave Rico Henry so much space
Just do our job and beat Palace rather than hope for Snookers!
