He won't play now given the defensive style we have been forced to adopt but next season he might because
1) we won't be playing as defensively and
2) at least one of DCL/Richarlison will be gone

he probably thought, decent squad on paper, massively under performing because of Rafa, has players like Delph, Allan, Doucoure, who can work defensively central, but lacks someone who plays in the position Dele plays in.
Then he arrived and realised the full state of things
