purely because it probably doesn't solve anything longer term and I'd be very concerned about who would replace him. I mean Steve Bruce and Neil Warnock are both available so maybe I shouldn't be so concerned.
So my heads in two places...
1) In the unlikely scenario that Moshiri is finally going to step up and start putting a decent leadership team in place, I'd leave Benitez where he is, for now, until that's done.
2) If Moshiri thinks all is rosey and they're all doing a grand job, then I'd #### Benitez off now and hope that someone else has better luck with the poisoned challis that is Everton Football Club and its group of shite players. I'd also start mentally preparing myself for relegation within 3 season's and the club becoming the next Nottingham Forest.
It smacks of Mike Walker to me at the moment. Rightly or wrongly, what he's trying isn't working. He's only missing two players, one of whom is injured half the time anyway.
It's 1 win in 10.
If we haven't won in the next five, is that it then?
NB. I think we will stick with him and win at least four points in the next five games as well as being confident there's a lot worse teams than us in this division.
