I know from first hand him remaining chairman was his ONLY condition when talking to the Qataris.
Good-Friend-Of-The-Club Mr Green was handling the financials.
I canít imagine his conditions being any different when he talked to Moshiri?
...the major shareholder but he was CLEARLY only brought in if Kenwright got to stay on as Chairman and - knowing Kenwright - that will be enshrined in law and will make him immovable.
You then couple that with the fact that Moshiri has the money but clearly not the footballing nous, and whenever we've heard him speak (usually to Jim White) he sounds like a Kenwright clone then it's clear - to me at least - that despite being skint, Kenwright is still somehow effectively the puppet master behind the scenes.
All that's really happened is that Moshiri turned out to be a more realisitic Samuelson and we've just replaced Philip Green with Usmanov.
All so Bill can keep his train set.
For all the talk of Benitez, Brands, Barret-Baxendale and Moshiri it's still Kenwright that is the problem - and he always will be.
losing just a little more faith every day, and credibility too apparently
