If that's with reference to my comments below
I said that this wasn't me calling for his head, it was a remark on the thought processes at the top of clubs that look like they are going into freefall. I don't personally think sacking Benitez would solve anything, though I make no apologies for not having wanted him here and being of the opinion that we won't progress as a footballing side with him in charge. The 'R' word isn't really a factor at the moment, but will start to loom larger if we go into the new year playing as badly as we have been. Of course you'd expect an upturn when key players return but that may not come for several weeks, allowing time for match fitness to be rebuilt and tough-looking fixtures lie ahead.
If we lose tomorrow, I don't think it will spell the end for RB, but the pressure will mount. I'd see best case scenario as scraping by to the end of the year when the fixture list starts looks slightly less difficult and we hopefully have a stronger pool of players to select from.
...bleat about how we need saved from relegation? What would be different this time from last time.?
I don't know who I regard with most contempt. The Board or the average Everton fan). Present company excepted).
