I ordered the Inspiron 15 with Ryzen 7 & 16gb RAM. £627. Thanks for your help! nt
i had one for nearly a decade before the screen finally turned red, and i've got an xps 13 now that's five or six years old and still working perfectly. i can't say enough good things about dell machines, to be honest. lenova have been good for me, too - i've had them a lot for work, and they've always been nice bits of kit and never had a problem with them.
imo, it's a case of either paying for the extra grunt for the video editing side of things (i.e. better GPU, better screen), or saving the cash and opting for the dell. i doubt you'd be unhappy with either, though, and £627 for the dell is bloody hard to argue with! especially as the lenovo is highly likely to be a limited availability deal looking at how it's being displayed on the website.
