fantasy-wide, shadow and bone s1 on netflix wasn't a bad start, and there's plenty of room for improvement in following seasons. the witcher looked fantastic but did the time-jumping thing the books did which made it very confusing until you realise it's telling stories in three separate time-frames with at least two characters who don't age appearing in them, making it bloody hard to follow unless you know the books.
if you're into comics, s1 of locke and key (netflix) was a slow one, so not sure what to hope for with the new s2. s1 of happy (netflix) was well done, but s2 didn't live up to it. the umbrella academy (netflix) is also worth a watch if you like weird stuff with a sense of humour. oh, and legion (disney) is well worth a watch if you like things that are off-the-wall and very visually distinctive.
