But then the money ran out, we not only sold off those players but also brought in relatively expensive but PL established mediocre/injury jinxed ones like Pistone, Alexanderson, Watson, Ferguson, Pembridge, Hughes and had a hit and miss record in Europe (Nyarko, Graveson, Linderoth, Radzinski, Xavier).
Can't help but wonder what if he'd been able to build on that first team he created, rather than switch strategy.
