I was agreeing with you
my 'anybody' comment was aimed at the critics
. He has limited options and wanted to get more support for Rondon who was easily marked out of the game by their defence. Gordon was unlucky and hopefully will continue his improvement with a goal soon.
Benitez seems to have been roundly criticised for the Gordon substitution after the game, when it made sense to me a few minutes after he’d done it?
It was a change in formation and the choice was Gordon or Gray off and he chose to move Gray out left in Gordon's place. That move backfired as Gray looked injured following a few rough hits that were ignored by the weak referee.
I am hopeful that Rafa will see the frailty of certain players and bin them asap ..... because yesterday was an accident waiting to happen. His face was a picture of disgust as we fell apart, I certainly think words will have been exchanged with the paymasters as far too many in his squad are not fit for purpose.
Personally I never want to see Iwobi, Keane, Delph, Rondon (a cheap panic buy with no other options available tbf) play for us again and Tom Davies is fast approaching decision time as he flails himself around the pitch chasing the ball like a drunken golden retriever.
I have lost a lot of interest and am convinced that the two clowns in charge are now playing an endgame with Kenwright 'retiring' as soon as he gets his name in lights in the new stadium. Moshiri has wasted far too much of his money to gamble anymore and I reckon the accountant in him see's the value of a new stadium to any potential buyer. Whats certain is that this squad is not going to create enough hope to keep fans quiet and there will be no hiding places in a mercyless Goodison for the Board or players.
