Southampton away springs to mind.
I still think Kenny could be a cracking player for us. Good defender, gets up and down, and saw him ping across an inch perfect ball from right back to left wing (from behind, in the ground, probably about 4 years ago), but never saw Hibbert do anything similar).
I think if he had a run of 10 games he could grow into a good player. How long would Hibbert have lasted in similar times?
I don't get the hatred for him at all. For me he's been unlucky in terms of his development in having Coleman in front of him, bad timed injuries, and never getting a run of game at all. All players need this to establish themselves. Defenders don't get to come on and score a brace.
He's never got to play 5 games in an established defence.
In hindsight, Sidibe (who was rubbish) probably did for him. But he would not have been worse, and we'd have developed youth player.
There's probably a few more youngsters in the squad (and who've been binned) who'd sing the same tune. But that's what happens what you've got a trigger happy, generous but clueless owner.
He was dreadful. No for me Clive
Serge Aurier (still the one out, one in model). Not entirely surprising given our injury situation. Problem is he's not gone to Italy (Roma) nor Arsenal yet because of his high wage demands. He was on 70k at Spurs and had another year to go. I doubt we're willing to reload another 70k pw for 4 years contract. We don't want more dead wood.
