But I can understand why we tried it and it's sad it didn't come off. It's also probably for the best he's left as Benitez looks a far better fit for us.
A lot of our fans (not you) seem to now have to pretend that Ancelotti was a fraud and had no idea of tactics. I'd suggest winning as much as he has means he's at least some idea of how to set up a team, now & again. But whatever gets us over being scorned I suppose!

It smacked entirely of Atkinson not wanting to book someone at that point in the game, rather than actually doing his job.
That was as thuggish as I've seen Burnley in a while, tbf. But Atkinson as good as encouraged them. He's always been a shit ref tho.
Was double delighted we won, for all of the above.
