Considerable personal risk?? Kenwright has invested the square root of fcuk
all into this club. Not. a single penny of his own money has he invested, not one penny. He has sold, hocked and borrowed everything he could to keep hold of the trainset!
but the fact is that he saved the club from johnson at considerable personal risk. i can also fully understand him being excessively cautious about who he sold to given the johnson era, too. he did what he could to back his managers and to keep the club going.
i don't think for an instant that had bad intentions - rather, the opposite but without the requisite skillset to make a success of things. those around him were probably more problematic given his lack of experience and i suspect they probably took advantage of him over the years, too.
ultimately, we only have a partial picture, but we know that he ultimately kept the club afloat and found a buyer in moshiri who's done well by the club so far.
