You’d think he’d have wanted to give Dom some minutes in case Kane gets injured…
There are ‘untouchables’ in the squad and Southgate is absolutely the manager they wanted in charge.
And the tedious back and forth passing between the defenders.
And the fact he can’t wait to take off Grealish, and banish Foden from the squad.
And the fact that he will never drop Kane, or Sterling for that matter, no matter how badly they play because Kane is great and he’s been through bad patches before and he’s scored lots of international goals. Why not drop him for tonight, after his poor last game, and give DCL a chance to stage a claim, and maybe even push Kane for a response.
I wouldn’t mind too much if the Czech Republic score a goal as a punishment slap to Southgate!
